Product Description

This pan head screw is manufactured from high-strength carbon steel with property classes 10.9 or 12.9 – among the highest strength grades available. Finishes include three high-performance options: Dacromet, Geomet, and Hot Dip Galvanized (HDG) . Dacromet and Geomet are chromium-free zinc-aluminium coatings with excellent salt spray resistance (500-1000 hours) and no hydrogen embrittlement risk – critical for high-strength fasteners. HDG provides a thick zinc layer (40-70μm) for outdoor steel structures. Drives: hexagon head, Torx, and cross recess – for varying torque requirements. The pan head offers a large bearing surface. This combination of high strength and superior corrosion protection is ideal for wind power, bridges, and heavy machinery critical connections.

Applications
Industry Usage
Automotive High-strength applications in engines, heavy-duty machinery, and bridge construction
Mechanical Connecting mechanical parts, circuit boards, engines, transmissions in various industries
Energy Connecting power generation equipment and transmission lines
Architectural Building structures, shipbuilding, and petrochemical equipment
  • Wind turbine tower flanges – Grade 12.9 with Dacromet, withstands cyclic high loads.

  • Bridge seismic stoppers – HDG for long-term outdoor protection.

  • Heavy mining machinery – Grade 10.9 with Geomet, resists mud and water.

  • Port crane rail clips – HDG resists seawater.

  • Petrochemical reactor manways – Dacromet coating resists chemical atmospheres.

Key Features
  • Ultra-high strength – 10.9/12.9 for extreme load requirements.

  • Premium anti-corrosion coatings – Dacromet/Geomet, hydrogen embrittlement-free with excellent salt spray resistance; HDG for heavy-duty outdoor use.

  • Three drive options – suits various torque and tool requirements.

  • Pan head large bearing – suitable for thin or soft materials in high-strength connections.

  • No hydrogen embrittlement risk – Dacromet/Geomet processes are hydrogen-free.
