This hex socket head cap screw features knurling under the head and a pre-assembled nylon locking ring (Nylock) at the thread end. The nylon ring provides permanent prevailing torque – when engaged, the nylon is compressed, creating strong friction against vibration loosening. The knurling allows hand starting. Materials: 18-8 stainless steel (304) as well as SS316, SS316L, meeting ANSI/AISI standards and German A2/A4 grades with strength classes 70 or 80.
